Rita Creel

Rita Creel is the Director of Software Architecture & Engineering Department at The Aerospace Corporation. Rita leads a team that focuses on developing innovative software architecture methods, connecting stakeholder goals to technology decisions, and researching emerging technologies in the space, defense, and civil sectors. Rita also serves as an Adjunct Professor at George Mason University and has a background in cybersecurity, systems engineering, and software development from their previous roles at CERT Division and Software Engineering Institute. With a strong education background in organizational leadership, computer engineering, and cybersecurity, Rita has a wealth of experience in leading technical teams and advising clients on software-reliant systems.
