Chinmayee Balachandra is a dedicated Maternal and Child Health Researcher at the Evidence Synthesis Group since June 2022 and an Albert Schweitzer Fellow, focusing on improving gender-based violence advocacy resources for underserved foreign-born communities. Balachandra's previous experience includes serving as a Senior Math, Spanish, and English Tutor at GradePotential, conducting impactful research at the Sutter Institute of Medical Research, and working as a Medical Scribe at Vituity. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S) in Biopsychology from UC Santa Barbara. Leadership initiatives include founding a chapter of I AM THAT GIRL at UC Santa Barbara to empower women and facilitate vulnerability.
