Jim Chan

Jim Chan is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as a Risk Management Advisor at The Alliance Risk Group, LLC since December 2022. Previously, Jim held various significant positions including Head of Credit Risk and Treasury for North America at Uniper, Credit Manager at EDF Energy North America, and Manager of Market Risk Analysis at Calpine. Earlier in the career, Jim contributed to The Alliance Risk Group as an Associate and worked as a Risk Manager at Twin Eagle. Jim's foundational experience includes roles as a Senior Credit Analyst at Calpine Corporation. Jim holds an MBA in Investments Finance from the University of Houston's C.T. Bauer College of Business and a degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
