Shreya Papneja has a diverse range of work experience. Shreya has served as a Community Outreach and Engagement Intern at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Children's National Hospital in 2022. Shreya also held the position of National Director and GW Chapter President at The American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative, where they led collegiate chapter expansion and founded the GWU chapter. In addition, they worked as a Clinical Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in 2022. Shreya has also made significant contributions outside of medical research, as the Founder and CEO of the Children's Health Awareness Program in Schools (CHAPS), where they aimed to empower children to make healthier choices and raise awareness about the obesity epidemic. Finally, Shreya served as a Student Representative of the School Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) at Fairfax County Public Schools from 2019 to 2021, advocating for improved health and wellness policy guidelines.
Shreya Papneja attended Langley High School from 2017 to 2021. Shreya is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with double minors in Philosophy and Psychological & Brain Sciences at The George Washington University, expected to be completed in 2025. Additionally, they obtained certification in MEDIC PediatricPlus CPR, AED, and First Aid for Children, Infants, and Adults from the American Safety and Health Institute in 2022.
