Sameh Youssef

Associate Director For Events Technical Support Services at The American University in Cairo

Sameh Youssef has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Sameh began their career in 2002 with training at the National Air Navigation Services Company. Sameh then joined the Telecommunication Engineering Consultant Office as a Systems Integrator Engineer from December 2005 to May 2007. From 2007 to 2008, Sameh worked as a System Integrator at Intellitech. Sameh then joined Audio Technology S.A.E. in February 2011 and served as a Senior AV and Pro Audio Design and Application Engineer until June 2018. During this time, they specialized in Pro Audio Systems Design and Installation, Commissioning and Tuning, Special Audio Visual Systems Design, and LED Video Walls. In July 2018, Sameh joined The American University in Cairo, first as an Assistant Director for Classroom Technologies and Media Services (CTMS) until April 2019, and then as an Associate Director for Events Technical Support Services. Most recently, in July 2021, Sameh began working as an Acoustic Consultant.

Sameh Youssef earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Electrical Power from Ain Shams University, where they studied from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, they attended St. George College from 1987 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Sameh has also obtained various certifications such as Certified Member (CM) from HETMA in 2023, Digital Transformation Specialist Certifications from AUC School of Business in 2023, Dante Level 1 (2nd Ed) from Audinate in 2023, Managing Teams and Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn in 2021 and 2020 respectively.
