Ashley started their career as an Information Center Attendant at Russell House University Union in 2011, where they provided accurate information and operated various services. In 2012, they became an Event Services Student Assistant in the same organization, performing tasks related to the overall operation of the Russell House.

In 2012, Ashley joined REEDS Jewelers as a Human Resources Assistant, where they prioritized paperwork flow and provided assistance in communicating policies and procedures. In 2014, they were promoted to the role of Human Resources Recruitment Administrator, responsible for recruitment and staffing.
