John Samuel Jacobs is an experienced professional in the field of archives and preservation, currently serving as the Assistant Registrar for Collections at The Andy Warhol Museum since August 2010. In this role, John processes rare primary source materials for cataloguing, imaging, exhibition, and preservation, while managing a diverse collection of art and archival media. Previously, John worked as a Visual Resources Intern at the Visual Media Lab within the Department of Art & Architecture at The University of Pittsburgh, where responsibilities included processing and cataloging images and assisting with the archiving of a substantial 35mm slide library. John holds a Master of Library & Information Science degree with a focus on Archives, Preservation, and Records Management from the University of Pittsburgh.
