Laura Thiessen

Laura Thiessen is a dedicated veterinary professional with extensive experience in animal care. Currently serving as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in the Special Care Unit at The Animal Medical Center since January 2015, Laura previously worked as an LVT at Banfield Pet Hospital from June 2014 to December 2014 and as an Animal Care Technician at Mispro Biotech Services Corporation from October 2013 to May 2014. Laura holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology from LaGuardia Community College (2011-2013) and has a strong academic background with multiple Master's degrees in History/Archival Management and related fields from New York University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in International Studies with a focus on German from Manhattan University (1998-2002).
