David Nalley

David Nalley is the current President of The Apache Software Foundation. David has held this position since November of 2018. Prior to their current role, David served as the Principal of Open Source Program Office at BlackBerry from 2016 to 2020. Before their time at BlackBerry, David was with The Linux Foundation as the Open Source Program Manager from 2016 to 2017. David's career began at The Apache Software Foundation where they worked as a Contributor from 2005 to 2012. From there, David went on to work as a Unix Administrator at Confluence Watersports from 2009 to 2011. After Confluence Watersports, David became a Systems Administrator at Bryan D. Ramey & Associates from 2002 to 2006. Lastly, before joining BlackBerry, David was a Consultant at GNSA from 2001 to 2006.
