Laura Hardie is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in people management and development. Currently serving as the Head of People at The Artisanal Spirits Company since October 2021, Laura has previously held various HR positions, including Human Resources Manager and HR Business Partner. Prior to this role, Laura spent 14 years at Oasis Fashion, where key positions included Regional Manager (Interim) for a new region of 66 stores and Development Manager, responsible for creating training workshops for retail roles. Laura's leadership in managing a team of 30 people across multiple sites led to recognition of the number one performing standalone store for 2019/20. Laura holds a Bachelor of Design in Constructed Textiles from the University of Dundee.

The Artisanal Spirits Company (ASC) are curators of the world's favourite, single-cask and limited-edition whisky. Based in Edinburgh, ASC owns The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS) which was established in 1983 and currently has a growing worldwide membership of over 38,000 paying members. SMWS provides members with inspiring experiences, content and exclusive access to a vast and unique range of outstanding single cask Scotch malt whiskies and other craft spirits, sourced from over 100 distilleries in 20 countries and expertly curated with diligence and care.
