Martin Brochhaus

Chief Technical Officer at The Artling

Born and raised in Germany, Martin obtained a masters degree in Economics and Information Technology at the University of Applied Science (FHDW). After graduating in 2005, he joined Bayer AG, building financial web-applications. He later moved on to ProUnix GmbH, maintaining a large web-based petition system for renowned German charity organisation “Aktion Mensch”.

While pursuing his corporate career, Martin discovered the Python programming language and began working on commercial side projects. The hobby quickly grew into a full business. In 2010 he visited Singapore and decided start his own web agency in the sunny nation state, and joined The Artling in 2014 as CTO.

To this day, he has advised many Singaporean startups and strives to enrich the local tech scene as the current President of the Python User Group Singapore and organizer of the annual Python Conference in Singapore.
