Head Of External Engagement at The Aspen Institute

Amy Schenk currently serves as the Head of External Engagement for the Aspen Digital program at the Aspen Institute, a position held since January 2025. Previously, from November 2020 to January 2025, Amy was the Deputy Head of Strategic Communications and Public Diplomacy at the British Embassy in Washington, where management of partnerships and strategic communications with over 400 U.S.-based think tanks and the implementation of a U.S. think tank engagement strategy were key responsibilities. Additionally, Amy held roles as Head of Stakeholder Engagement at the British Embassy and as a Special Assistant to the Executive and Managing Directors at the International Institute for Strategic Studies, where support and coordination of programming were primary duties. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in International Studies, Political Science, and Arabic Studies from the University of Oregon, along with a certificate in Modern Standard Arabic from the Qasid Arabic Institute.
