Erika Karp has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 1985, they started their career at IBM as an Account Sales Representative in the Telecommunications Division. Erika then moved on to Credit Suisse First Boston, where they worked as a Director in Institutional Equity Sales from 1991 to 1999. Erika joined UBS in 1999 and held multiple roles, including Managing Director and Head of Global Sector Research, until 2013. In that year, they founded Cornerstone Capital Group and served as its CEO until 2021. During this time, they also became Chief Impact Officer at Pathstone in 2021, leading the sustainable and impact investment advisory firm. Currently, Erika holds the position of Executive Director for the Finance Leaders Fellowship at The Aspen Institute.
Erika Karp earned their MBA in Finance/Management from Columbia Business School, where they attended from 1989 to 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from The Wharton School, completing their studies between 1981 and 1985.
