Greg Gershuny has served as the Executive Director of the Aspen Institute Energy and Environment Program (EEP) since 2018. He is also the Co-Director of Aspen Ideas: Climate, a public forum focused on climate solutions. The Energy and Environment Program, one of the longest running at the Aspen Institute, works with people, organizations, and governments to take action on solving climate change while continuing to build a clean energy economy around the world. Prior to joining Aspen, Greg served as the Chief of Staff for Energy Policy and Systems Analysis at the U.S. Department of Energy, the White House Director of Energy and Environment Personnel, and as a Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy Aide under President Barack Obama. Greg is a graduate of George Mason University and originally hails from New Jersey.
