Nicole Aguais

Nicole Aguais has worked as a Director of Security at Riot Platforms, Inc. since March 2023. Prior to that, they served in various roles at the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, including Past President and President of the Texas Chapter. In these roles, they provided leadership to chapter members and collaborated with other national board members. Their previous experience includes working as a Security Program Manager - Policy & Training at ConocoPhillips and as a Security Analyst at Air Liquide. Nicole also has experience as an Academic Advisor/Graduate Assistant at Sam Houston State University and as an Undergraduate Student Intern at the City of Huntsville Police Department.

Nicole Aguais, MS, holds a Master of Science degree in Security Studies, which they obtained from Sam Houston State University in the year 2013. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the same university, graduating in 2011. In addition to their formal education, Nicole has obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they received certification in Executive Protection from ASIS International. Similarly, in July 2017, they obtained a certification in Crisis Management from the same institution. Furthermore, Nicole completed the US State Department's Analytical Methodologies Training offered by the U.S. Department of State in April 2015.
