Kas Mayanga- Cciso

Kas Mayanga is an accomplished information security and IT professional currently serving as the Vice President and Head of Information Security & IT Services at The Atlantic since May 2021. Mayanga is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security program that supports the organization's commitment to excellence in journalism and innovation. Prior to this role, Mayanga led IT strategies at Invictus Capital Partners, achieving significant cost reductions and improved scalability through digital transformation. Previous positions include Technology Operations Manager at ASPPH, where Mayanga enhanced disaster recovery processes, and Senior IT Operations Engineer at The Carlyle Group, focusing on global IT operations and vendor management. Mayanga's extensive experience is complemented by ongoing doctoral studies in Business Intelligence at Marymount University, along with a Master of Science in Management of Secure Information Systems from George Mason University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Electronic Commerce from National College of Ireland.
