Trevor Smith

Trevor Smith is a seasoned expert in laboratory biosafety and health and safety consulting, currently serving as a Specialist Consultant at Trevor Smith Biomedical Laboratory H&S Consultant since October 2014. With extensive experience at The Babraham Institute since January 1986, Trevor holds several key positions including Biosafety Officer and Head of Health, Safety and Good Research in Practice, and has a background in protein expression research. Prior roles include leading a protein structure unit and postdoctoral research focused on vaccine development for parasitic nematodes. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Parasitology from Bangor University, alongside an MSc in Parasitology and a BSc in Animal Sciences from prestigious institutions.
