Salvi began his career with Baltimore Life in 1983 as an agent. In that role, he won numerous honors, including Rookie of the Year, and qualified for eight company conventions. He assumed district management responsibilities in 1986 and won the President’s Award in 1987 and 1991. He was promoted to Regional Vice President in 1993 and Divisional Vice President in 2002. In 2011, he was elected Vice President of Distribution. In 2013, he was elected as Senior Vice President and Chief Distribution Officer.
Salvi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of LIMRA’s Distribution Leadership Committee as well as its Recruiting and Retention Task Force. He is also a member of an inter-company marketing group, GAMA and NAIFA. He serves on the Board of the Christopher Columbus Scholarship Fund for the York County Sons of Italy, and is an Advisory Board member for Easter Seals of Central PA.
