James Hilty

James Hilty has extensive experience in credit portfolio management and risk management, with a career spanning several prominent financial institutions. Since 2004, James has held multiple leadership positions at The Bancorp, including Director of Credit Portfolio Management, Senior Credit Allowance Officer, Chief Audit Executive, and Chief Risk Officer. Prior to this, James served as a Credit Officer and SVP at Harleysville National Bank from 2001 to 2004, and as Chapter President of The Risk Management Association for the Philadelphia Chapter. Additional experience includes roles at Santander Bank, N.A., as Credit Review Officer, and earlier positions at Jefferson Bank/Hudson United Bank and Independence Bancorp as Loan Review Officer. James holds a degree from Penn State University, earned between 1981 and 1985.
