James Midanek

James Midanek serves as the Chief Investment Officer at The Bancorp since December 2013, where responsibilities include assisting the CFO in portfolio investment policy, advising on investment strategies, and analyzing investment opportunities. Previously, James held roles such as Investment Consultant at Further Lane Asset Management and Fixed Income Investment Officer, managing successful total return accounts and achieving top quartile mortgage returns. James co-founded Midanek/Pak Advisors, LLC, excelling as Partner and Chief Investment Officer, and has a notable history as Chief Investment Officer-Fixed Income at Turner Investment Partners, where close to $1 billion was managed. As the Founder and CIO of Solon Asset Management Corporation, James built the firm to over $750 million in assets and developed successful fixed-income strategies. James's extensive career in the financial sector also includes senior positions at JP Morgan Securities, EF Hutton Securities, Drexel Burnham Lambert, Paine Webber, and Ernst and Ernst, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Queens College and further education at Hofstra University School of Business.
