Olek Derowe

EVP, Head of Commercial Real Estate at The Bancorp

Olek Derowe is the EVP, Head of Commercial Real Estate at The Bancorp. Olek has over 15 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.

Derowe started their career at Capmark (f/k/a GMAC Commercial Mortgage) in 2000 as a vice president. Olek was with the company for eight years before moving to CWCapital in 2009. At CWCapital, they served as a vice president for one year before joining Ranieri Partners in 2010.

At Ranieri Partners, Derowe served as a vice president and was responsible for the management of a CRE CDO along with CMBS trading support. In 2011, they left Ranieri Partners to join Amherst Securities Group as a vice president.

Derowe was with Amherst Securities Group for four years. Olek was responsible for underwriting the CMBS universe for bond traders while also supporting research and investment banking initiatives. In 2015, they left Amherst Securities Group to join The Bancorp as EVP, Head of Commercial Real Estate.

Olek Derowe has a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance from New York University and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from University at Albany, SUNY.

Their manager is Damian Kozlowski, CEO & President. Olek Derowe works with Greg Garry - Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Jeff Nager - Executive Vice President, Head of Commercial Lending, and Ryan Harris - EVP, Head of Fintech Solutions.
