Aoife Marken

Aoife Marken is a barrister-at-law currently practicing at The Bar of Northern Ireland since September 2019. Marken has served as a teaching assistant in Evidence and Criminal Procedure and Tort Law at Queen's University Belfast during the academic years of 2021 and 2022, and 2022 to 2023, respectively. Previous experience includes a role as an advisor at Citizens Advice and an assistant at Queen's Careers, Employability & Skills. Marken has completed mini-pupillages at The Bar of Northern Ireland and Essex Court Chambers. Academically, Marken holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Studies, a Master of Laws in International Business Law, and a Bachelor of Laws, all obtained from Queen's University Belfast, in addition to a degree of Barrister-at-Law from The Honourable Society of the Inn of Court of Northern Ireland.
