Daina Chiu

Daina Chiu is Of Counsel at Serent Capital, a private equity firm focused on high-growth service and technology businesses and serves as a commissioner on the San Francisco Ethics Commission. She previously held senior leadership roles at McKesson Corporation, leading M&A, corporate, healthcare regulatory, privacy, antitrust, compliance, and contracting matters in the Law Department. She also served as McKesson's head of talent management, responsible for leadership development, employee engagement, workforce analytics, performance management, and executive recruitment. Daina was also McKesson's first Chief Diversity Officer, responsible for creating and establishing the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion framework, programs, benchmarks, and metrics.

Her oldest son is a member of the Class of 2022 and her youngest son the Class of 2024. In her free time, Daina loves to lose herself in a good book, an engaging conversation, or a family trip to another culture, time, and place.
