Lin Hatfield Dodds

Lin Hatfield Dodds currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Benevolent Society, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Lin was the Associate Dean at ANZSOG - The Australia and New Zealand School of Government from February 2019 to July 2021, and previously worked as the Deputy Secretary for Social Policy at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet from June 2016 to February 2019. Lin also held the position of National Director at UnitingCare Australia from January 2002 to June 2016, establishing a reputation as one of Australia’s leading social justice advocates. With a Masters in Psychology, Counseling Psychology from the University of Canberra, Lin is recognized as an expert in community services and social policy, contributing to various boards and government advisory bodies while frequently participating as a media commentator and conference speaker.
