Colby Synesael

Colby has been a Berkeley Carroll parent since 2015 and has two children in the school (Libby and Kit). He became a board member in 2019 and currently serves on the Finance Committee. He is the SVP of Communications at emerging markets tower operator IHS Towers where he is responsible for the company’s investor and corporate communications and ESG reporting. Before joining IHS in March 2022, Colby was a managing director and senior research analyst at the investment bank Cowen and Company specializing in the communications infrastructure and telecom services industries. Mr. Synesael became a senior research analyst in 2006 and started in equity research in 2001. He holds a BS from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
