Katya Jestin

Katya Jestin has been a Berkeley Carroll parent since 2009 and has two children in the school. She is the Co-Managing Partner of Jenner & Block LLP. Prior to joining Jenner, Katya was a federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of New York specializing in organized crime and racketeering cases; while an AUSA, she prosecuted the leadership of three of the five organized crime families of La Cosa Nostra. She earned her J.D. from Georgetown Law School, and her B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. Katya serves on the board’s Development Committee and on the Committee on Trustees. She also serves on the Boards of the Eastern District Association and the Office of the Appellate Defender, and is on the Advisory Committee for the Center for Constitutional Rights and on the Lawyers Council for the Citizens Crime Commission of NYC.
