Miguel Ruiz Velasco has extensive experience in quality management and consulting services. Miguel currently holds the role of Ops Director - Quality at The Better Being Co. since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Managing Partner at 4M Quality Systems LLC from 2017. In this role, they provided consulting services in diverse industries such as Automotive, Logistics, and Food Storage/Distribution.
From 2006 to 2022, Miguel worked at Fresenius Medical Care North America in various quality engineering roles. Miguel served as a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer, overseeing supplier-related engineering projects and coordinating evaluations and communications with multiple groups within the company. Miguel also worked as a Sr. Quality Engineer/Supervisor, managing a team of Product Quality Technicians and leading training initiatives in SPC, Lean/Six Sigma, and Basic Statistics. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Process Quality Engineer, responsible for directing special projects, process improvement, complaint investigations, NCRs, CAPAs, and Risk Management activities.
Miguel Ruiz Velasco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2003. Miguel then pursued a Master's degree in Quality and Productivity at the same institution from 2007 to 2010.
