Jacob French has a diverse range of work experience. Jacob served as the Co-Director and Student Outreach Executive at The Big Event at Virginia Tech, leading a large team of volunteers and overseeing the organization's growth. Jacob also held the position of Brotherhood Executive Chair at The Delta Chi Fraternity, Inc. Furthermore, Jacob participated in a study abroad program at DTU - Technical University of Denmark, where they performed large-scale exercises in process technology and chemical unit operations. Jacob worked as a Maintenance Worker at the Aurora City School District, where they gained practical skills in HVAC and completed various tasks such as installing LED lights and rewiring electrical outlets. Jacob also participated in the Caravan for Democracy Student Leadership Mission organized by Jewish National Fund-USA, where they gained valuable insights and facilitated constructive dialogue. Jacob interned at PepsiCo as a Supply Chain Engineering Intern, where they improved efficiency in the traffic department through Excel algorithms. Lastly, they worked as a Mar Bal Engineering Intern at Mar-Bal, Inc., where they shadowed experienced engineers and analyzed the process of creating thermosets.

Jacob French attended Aurora High School from 2015 to 2019, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Jacob then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech College of Engineering from 2019 to 2023.
