David Mowat

David Mowat has a diverse range of work experience in various companies and industries.

Starting in 2004, they worked as a Director at the Bank of Scotland Integrated Finance until 2010. From 2010 to 2013, they served as an Investment Director at Caird Capital LLP.

In 2013, Mowat took on multiple roles, including Finance Director at Dry Lube Limited, Director at Sanday Ventures Limited, and Non-Executive Director at pureLiFi Limited. At Dry Lube Limited, they played a key role in the sale of the business to Sealed Air Corporation in 2015.

In 2014, Mowat joined pureLiFi Limited as a Non-Executive Director, focusing on wireless data communication using the visible light spectrum. David left the role in December 2015.

From 2015 onwards, Mowat served as a Founding Partner at Circularity Capital, a private equity firm specializing in the circular economy. In this role, they focused on investment execution, portfolio management, and investor reporting.

In 2018, Mowat joined the Advisory Board of Grover, a Berlin-based company that offers sustainable access to consumer electronics through rental subscriptions.

Their most recent work experience, starting in 2022, is as a Director at Bike Club, the leading subscription service for kids' bikes in the UK. The company focuses on providing flexible and environmentally friendly access to bikes.

David Mowat attended Glasgow Academy from 1979 to 1987. David then proceeded to Heriot-Watt University, where they studied Accountancy & Finance and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from 1987 to 1990.
