Cat Dismukes is a dedicated professional currently serving as an MSW Clinical Intern at The Black Mountain Academy since July 2020, where responsibilities include running therapy groups, conducting one-on-one client sessions, and facilitating family calls. Previous roles include Academic Support Coordinator, where Cat implemented therapeutic interventions during the school day, and Residential Coach, which involved helping students achieve social and therapeutic goals. Cat has also gained experience through internships at Black Mountain Home for Children, Youth & Families and Solstice East, and has held positions in wilderness therapy and public relations. Cat Dismukes is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work at the University of Kentucky, building on a Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Communications from The Ohio State University.
