Anne-Laure Fonteneau

Anne-Laure Fonteneau is a highly experienced professional in the cosmetic science sector, currently serving as the Head of Research & Formula Development at The Body Shop since November 2015. With a robust background in innovation and project management for skincare and body products, Anne-Laure has held various roles including R&I Scientific Intelligence Lead and R&D Head of Bath, Body & Fragrance Portfolio Development. In addition, Anne-Laure is the Chair of the International Journal of Cosmetic Science Committee since May 2022, focusing on enhancing the journal's quality and promotion within the industry. Previous experiences include technical management at Cosmarida 2010 Ltd, and roles at Johnson & Johnson and Gattefosse, all contributing to extensive expertise in product formulation and development. Anne-Laure holds a Master's degree in Cosmetology from the Industrial Pharmacy Institute Lyon and a degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on the cosmetic industry from the University of Sciences Montpellier.
