Dana Volkers Phillips

Dana Volkers Phillips is an experienced small business owner and education advocate with a background in both retail and homeschooling. Since August 2021, Dana has operated The Bookstore in Pine City, specializing in new and used books, homeschool curriculum, and educational resources. From December 2013 to August 2021, Dana successfully homeschooled a daughter who entered college at the age of 16. Prior experience includes owning Little Bookworms Preschool for one year and co-owning Daily Discoveries Child Care and Preschool for nearly five years, during which Dana's program received nominations and grants for excellence in childcare. Dana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota.
