Hye Young (Heather) Cheong has a range of work experience in various companies. Hye Young (Heather) is currently serving as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Director at The Boston Dynamics AI Institute since 2022. Previously, they worked at CIRCOR International, Inc. from 2017 to 2022, holding positions such as Sr Dir, Chief of Staff to CEO, Director of Compensation & HR Analytics, and Sr Manager of Compensation & Benefits. Prior to that, they worked at GSK as an Associate Director of Compensation from 2015 to 2017. Hye Young (Heather) also worked at Novartis Vaccines as an Associate Director of Compensation, Compensation Manager, and Compensation Analyst from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, they served as an HR Intern - Compensation at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics in 2011 and worked as a Research Assistant at Hay Group Korea in 2008.

Hye Young (Heather) Cheong pursued their education with a sequential academic journey. Beginning in 2002 and ending in 2005, they attended Asheville School, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania from 2005 to 2009, earning their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Lastly, they attended Cornell University from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Labor and Industrial Relations, and obtained their Master's Degree (MILR).
