Pat Hargest

Chief Development Officer at The Bradley Center

Pat Hargest joined the Executive Management Team in November of 2013, after having served on the Bradley Board of Directors for eight years. During her Board tenure, she served as both the Chair of the Nominating and Donor Relations Committees. She has previously held the role of Director of Development or Senior Development Officer at a range of diverse organizations, including The Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, and Pittsburgh Action Against Rape.

As the Director of Development, Pat is responsible for developing and managing comprehensive fundraising programs, including annual giving, major gifts, capital campaigns, planned giving, events, and membership, as well as funding diversification among individuals, foundations, corporations, and government sources, and the United Way. Pat’s prior service on Bradley’s Board of Directors included board development and interfacing with various board committees, member prospecting, donor cultivation, stewardship, and solicitation; the development of donor communications including appeals, newsletters, grants, scripts, and cases for support; and online fundraising.

Pat is an active member of the Pittsburgh community, including the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Board of Directors; AFP Professional Development Committee, Chair; AFP Mentoring Program, mentor; the City of God Foundation, Board of Directors, Chair; Shadyside Hospital, Eucharistic minister; Sacred Heart Church, volunteer; Sisters of Saint Joseph, associate.
