Marisa Rubio

Marisa Rubio, PhD, currently serves as the Associate Director of the Research Program at The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, a position held since December 2019. Prior to this role, Marisa held several positions at Yale University, including Science Writer in Corporate & Foundation Relations and Assistant Director at the Sackler Institute for Biological, Physical & Engineering Sciences between October 2016 and July 2019. Additionally, Marisa completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, focusing on GTPase proteins, and earned both a Ph.D. and MPhil from Yale University in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry, following a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Marshall University.
