Marianne Wanstall

Marianne Wanstall is the current CEO at The Brendoncare Foundation. Prior to their current position, Wanstall held the Interim Operations Manager role at Skiweekends from November 2013 to May 2014. Before that, Wanstall was the Head of Holidays at National Trust from June 2009 to May 2013 where they were responsible for the overall management of NT Holiday cottages (£10M turnover), volunteer group Working Holidays, and licensed holiday partnerships. Wanstall was also accountable for delivery of sales, budgetary management and general business delivery, leading a team of 28. Some key achievements during their time at National Trust include driving income increase of £1M over 3 years through new pricing strategy and improved technology, delivery of £350k cost saving through design and implementation of organisation-wide changes, creation and implementation of new promotion and marketing strategy with focus on online presence, and management of renovation program of buildings for new holiday cottages including capital budgets, interior designs and furnishings, plus rolling refurbishment program (c. £3M pa). Wanstall also developed a new working holidays program for 3,000+ volunteers and led a team of 28 through above changes; up-skilling the team to meet new business needs.

Marianne Wanstall has a Master of Arts in Modern Languages from the University of Cambridge. Marianne also went to St Mary's School in Shaftesbury.
