Susana Shymanik

Susana Shymanik, LCPC, serves as the Clinical Director at The Bridge Youth & Family Services since October 2021, overseeing clinical operations. Prior to this role, Susana held positions as Counseling Supervisor at Association House of Chicago from October 2017 to October 2021 and as a Bilingual Child and Family Therapist at The Bridge Youth & Family Services from July 2014 to September 2017, where therapy was provided to predominantly Latino children and families using various therapeutic techniques. Susana's earlier experience includes a Clinical Intern position at the Cook County Juvenile Probation Department, where psychosexual evaluations were conducted, and a role as a Personal Care Assistant at Recovery Resources. Susana also worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Mansfield Center of Nursing and Rehabilitation. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University, along with an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences.
