Megan Higgins

Megan Higgins is an experienced educator and illustrator currently serving as an Art and Design Teacher at the International School Carinthia since June 2023. With a robust background in visual arts and digital design education for students in grades 7-12, Megan was previously the Head of the Design, Art, Drama, and PHE Department at the same institution from September 2013 to July 2022. In addition to teaching, responsibilities included serving as a Language Coordinator and Teaching Assistant, as well as coordinating a Morning Program for younger students. Megan is also an illustrator represented by The Bright Agency, creating illustrations for various educational materials. Prior experience includes translation work at Wear From and serving as an English Language Assistant in Austrian high schools through the Fulbright Austria program. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Universität Klagenfurt and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ohio University.
