Regional Vice President Of Operations at The Bristal Assisted Living

Faraz Kayani has held various roles throughout their work experience. Faraz began their career as a Recreation Specialist at The Bristal Assisted Living in 2010. Faraz then worked as an Intern at the Office of U.S Senator Kirsten E. Gillibrand in 2011. In 2011, they also founded their own company called "All Politics Is Local Inc." where they served as the Founder & CEO, offering political lectures and seminars on various issues. From 2012 to 2013, they served as a Pathways to Peace Representative at the United Nations, representing an international organization and moderating the 2012 International Day of Peace. Additionally, from 2012 to 2013, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at SUNY College at Old Westbury, teaching a first-year seminar on civic engagement. Faraz returned to The Bristal Assisted Living in 2013 as an Assistant Administrator, overseeing HR tasks, assisting the Executive Director, and serving as a point-of-contact for marketing tours. Faraz then held the position of Executive Director from 2014 to 2017, where they improved staffing stability and increased community census. In 2016, they played a key role in a $50 million renovation project, converting an independent living model to licensed assisted living. Finally, from 2021 to 2023, they served as the Regional Director of Operations and is currently the Regional Vice President of Operations at The Bristal Assisted Living.

Faraz Kayani holds a Master's degree in International Relations & American Political System, which they earned from the University at Albany, SUNY in the year 2011. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American Studies / Pre-Law from the State University of New York at Old Westbury between 2007 and 2010. Additionally, in 2012 and 2013, they pursued coursework in Human Rights & International Law at Columbia University.
