Clarissa Farr is a trustee at The British Museum and the former High Mistress of St Paul's Girls' School.

Clarissa became Head of St Paul's Girls' School in 2006, one of the UK’s leading independent academic day schools. Under their leadership, the school increased bursary awards by 57%, resulting in an unprecedented 66% of bursary recipients being fully funded pupils by 2017.

The school regularly achieved the best academic results in the country during Clarissa's tenure, and in 2013 was rated Sunday Times Independent School of the year. In 2016 new school and national records were set in GCSE and A level examinations.

Clarissa led the development of a comprehensive business strategy for the school, which included a £30m estate development plan funded by cash reserves, fundraised income and the support of the Mercers’ Company.

Clarissa Farr has a diploma in executive coaching from The Academy of Executive Coaching in London, an advanced professional diploma in non-executive director from The Financial Times, and a postgraduate certificate of education in English and drama from the University of Bristol. Clarissa also has a master's degree in modern fiction and critical approaches from the University of Exeter, and a bachelor's degree in English literature from the same school. Finally, they attended Bruton School for Girls.
