Scott Dickson is an experienced project director currently serving at the Infrastructure and Projects Authority since January 2016, while also holding the position of Director and Trustee at The British Omani Society since December 2019. Previously, Scott worked as Project Director at HM Treasury's Infrastructure UK from January 2014 to December 2015, and as Head of Commercial for the Thames Tideway Tunnel Team at Defra from August 2012 to October 2015. Prior to these roles, Scott was a partner and infrastructure & energy lawyer at Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP from September 2005 to July 2012. Scott also lectured in International Private Law part-time at Edinburgh Law School in 2000-2001 and briefly ran as a Parliamentary Candidate for The Conservative Party during the 1997 General Election. Educational qualifications include studies at the University of Oxford and the University of Glasgow, complemented by early education at Wishaw High School and Lammermoor Primary School.
