Stacy Friedman

Stacy Friedman serves as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where responsibilities include overseeing all legal affairs, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and litigation matters while managing outside counsel. Additionally, Stacy has held the position of Interim Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, focusing on HIPAA compliance and related investigations. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner at Abrams Fensterman, LLP, providing counsel to healthcare organizations on corporate and regulatory issues, and as an Associate at Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman, working on class action litigation. Stacy holds a Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Health Law from Boston University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
