Avionics Lead at The Buckeye Space Launch Initiative

Peter Hall has a diverse work experience in various fields. Peter is currently serving as the Avionics Lead at The Buckeye Space Launch Initiative, where they lead a team of 25 undergraduate students in designing electrical and software systems for a high-power rocket. Peter specializes in embedded systems/microcontrollers, PCB design, and RF engineering. Peter also worked at SpaceX as a Hardware Test Engineering Intern, where they developed hardware for component testing and provided support for anomaly investigation. Additionally, they gained experience as a Science Olympiad Event Coach at Centerville High School, an Engineering Modeler-Programmer at Battelle, a Physics Tutor at The Ohio State University, and a Software Engineer Intern at Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education. Peter also gained research experience as an Autonomy Technology Research (ATR) Center Intern at Wright State University and as an AFRL Wright Scholar Intern at Air Force Research Laboratory, where they designed and tested prototypes and analyzed data to improve aircraft technology.

Peter Hall attended Centerville High School from 2016 to 2020. Peter then studied at The Ohio State University from 2020 to 2024, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
