Brian Gu

Brian Gu is a seasoned intelligence analyst and linguist with extensive experience in the field of cryptology and language analysis. Currently serving as a Mid-Identity Intelligence Analyst (IA2) at The Buffalo Group since September 2021, Brian Gu also holds the position of Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Army Reserve since January 2019. Previously, Brian Gu worked as a Foreign Language Data Analyst at Red Gate Group from January 2020 to November 2020, and served as a Cryptologic Linguist in the United States Army from July 2012 to December 2018. Brian Gu's academic background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Virginia Tech and an Associate of Arts in Korean Studies from the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. Responsibilities include translating and interpreting foreign language communications for intelligence reporting and dissemination to various government and defense organizations.
