Ethan Tieu is a multifaceted professional with experience in neuroscience, biology, and computer science. Currently serving as the Head of Neuroscience and Biology at Bonsai Applied Computations Group, Ethan leads a team on significant computational neuroscience projects for the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. As a co-founder of the Miami Project, Ethan is focused on developing machine learning solutions to model disease progression. Additional roles include teaching fellow at the University of Miami, Clinton Global Initiative University Fellow, and founder of Tieu Tunes, which distributes 3D-printed violins in Kenya. Educationally, Ethan is pursuing dual degrees in Neuroscience and Computer Science at the University of Miami, building on a strong foundation from high school in biomedical studies.
