Elliot Kennel

Vice President for Advanced Materials and Nuclear Research at The Cameron Group, Inc.

Elliot Kennel's work experience began in 1980 when they served as a Nuclear Engineer in the United States Air Force. In 1990, they joined Applied Sciences Inc as a Vice President until 2002. From 2002 to 2011, Kennel worked at West Virginia University as a Research Coordinator. Elliot then returned to Applied Sciences Inc in 2011 and held various roles, including Research Engineer and Director of New Product Development. As a Research Engineer, they conducted studies on nanomaterials, refractory ceramics, graphene, and carbon dioxide management, among other areas. Elliot also developed new technologies, such as nanotubes and a process for nucleating microcrystals of refractory ceramics. Kennel's expertise led him to their current position as the Vice President for Advanced Materials and Nuclear Research at The Cameron Group Inc, where they oversee various defense and energy-related projects.

Elliot Kennel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Miami University from 1977 to 1979. Before that, they attended Cuyahoga Community College in 1976 to 1977 for their junior college education. Subsequently, they pursued an MS in Nuclear Engineering from The Ohio State University, completing it from 1979 to 1982.
