Saleem Drera

Saleem Drera has a diverse work experience in the field of nuclear technologies. Saleem started their career as a Nuclear Engineer at Knolls Atomic Power Lab in 2008. Saleem then worked as a Consulting Engineer at URS Corporation from 2016 to 2017. In 2010, Saleem joined The Cameron Group, Inc. as the Vice President of Nuclear Consulting. In 2012, they became the VP of Research and Development at Thor Energy AS, where they focused on the Norwegian Thorium Initiative. Since 2012, Saleem has been the Chief Executive Officer of RadTran LLC, a company specializing in nuclear technologies for medical and energy advancements.

Saleem Drera has an extensive education history, primarily focusing on nuclear science and engineering as well as mechanical engineering. Saleem began their academic journey at the University of California, Berkeley, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering and Chemical Engineering from 2003 to 2007. Following this, they furthered their studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2007 to 2008. Finally, Saleem Drera pursued their highest level of education at the Colorado School of Mines, where they completed their PhD in Nuclear Science and Engineering within the Department of Mechanical Engineering from 2009 to 2012.
