Friedel Drees

Friedel Drees is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as Managing Director at The Carlyle Group since 2009. Prior to this role, Friedel worked as a Consultant at Bain & Company from 2005 to 2008. Academically, Friedel holds a PhD in Finance from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, completed in 2008, as well as a Master's degree in Finance & Accounting from the same institution, obtained in 2005. Additionally, Friedel earned an MBA in Finance & Accounting from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business in 2004.
