Michael Hart

Michael Hart is a seasoned financial executive with significant experience in leading roles at prominent financial institutions. Currently, Michael serves as the Managing Director and CEO of TCG BDC, Inc. at The Carlyle Group since August 2014, and is also the Head of Direct Lending. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Managing Director and Co-Head of the U.S. at BlackRock Solutions from 2008 to July 2014. Michael's earlier experience includes serving as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, where responsibilities included Global Co-Head of the Leveraged and Acquisition Finance Group and Global Head of the Loan Products Group from 1996 to 2008, along with a tenure as Vice President in Merchant Banking at Chase Manhattan Bank from 1990 to 1996. Michael holds an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and graduated from St Maria Goretti High School.
