Lucy Diaz Cruz

Lucy Diaz Cruz has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Lucy started their career in 2019 as a Research Assistant at FIU Center for Children and Families, where they also served as a Summer Camp Counselor in their School readiness program. In 2019, they joined Acorn Health as an Authorizations Specialist. Currently, Lucy is working at Kind Behavioral Health, where they have held multiple roles including Authorizations Manager, Manager of Payor Relations, and currently the Director of Payor Relations and RCM.

Lucy Diaz Cruz completed their education at Florida International University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from 2017 to 2019. Lucy later enrolled at the FIU Chapman Graduate School of Business in 2021 and completed a Healthcare MBA (HCMBA) degree, specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management in 2022. In addition to their degrees, Lucy also obtained several certifications in various areas such as Healthcare Regulatory Compliance Training, Medicare Fraud and Abuse Prevention, Spreadsheet Fundamentals, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, Visual Analytics with Tableau, Excel 2019 Essential Training, and Tableau Essential Training.
